Activities for a group outing in Sembalun

You can mix and match activities to suit your group's ages, fitness and the mood you want to create.

  • ATV rides: the regular Sembalun ATV route covers about 8 km in around 2 hours through village lanes, farms and hills, stopping at Bukit Selong and the Sembalun traditional village. Two people share one ATV and riders must be at least 14. Read our Sembalun ATV guide for details.
  • Group games and outbound activities, chosen around your goal, whether that is breaking the ice or building a stronger team.
  • Shared meals, from snacks between activities to a big meal together, as agreed in your package.
  • Light trekking to hills around Sembalun such as Pergasingan or Nanggi, as a day hike or an overnight camp for the sunrise.

How we plan your company outing in Lombok

  • Once the plan and price are agreed, a deposit confirms your date.
  • On the day, an event coordinator stays with your group and our team takes photos.

Transport is optional, with pickup from the airport, a harbour or hotels in Lombok. As a guide, Lombok Airport to Sembalun takes about 3 hours and Mataram or Senggigi about 3.5 hours. Meals follow the agreed package, and we can arrange lodging for overnight events.

Tips for event organisers

  • Agree on the goal first: team building, staff appreciation and a family holiday need different programmes.
  • Know your group: note ages and fitness levels, and tell us about any medical conditions. Guests under 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Confirm numbers early, since the price, vehicles, meals and ATVs all depend on them.
  • Allow for travel time and match the departure time to your guests' flights.
  • Share a packing list: a change of clothes and a raincoat for the ATV, a jacket for cool highland mornings and evenings, and comfortable shoes.
  • Name one person as the main contact and book early for holiday periods.
